Hello, all. Long time lurker, short time member and this is my first thread, so cut me some slack!

I am looking into picking up another IWC Pilot, this time a Mark XX. I have a gen Mark XVII, a rep (A2892) Mark XVIII, and another rep XX with a 2892. I am quite familiar with the feel of the A2892 (which mostly tend to be Sea-Gull movements, right?), power reserve, etc. Is the SW300 that much of an advantage? Especially in the subjective things, feel of the wind, noise, etc.

I am still doing my research. If someone has a V7F with the SW300, I would love to hear about your experience. Thanks for reading. :)

Here’s another member who just made the same switch, he probably has the answers you’re looking for 😄

Great writeup! And thanks.

I was wondering about the ones from the factory, as they offer a paid upgrade. But this is very useful.
