Suspicious Submariner on Chrono24

While browsing through chron24 I came across a submariner that has a dial that looks very similar to the newer ARF Sub dials.


if you notice on this listing the font for 1000 ft looks like it’s using 1OOO instead of 1000 does anyone else see this?

Nothing supsicious,
there are lots of variations of the gen dial by Rolex.I dont remember what year it is supposed to be but looks gen to me.

Wow thanks for the link! Looks like you guys are correct crazy how even within the same year they have different fonts/spacing.

Chrono24 has always been good for me. Never had a fake come through and with the escrow service, I trust they'd make it right if something did happen.

You have to compare Apple with apples. This comes up sometimes when a new reps released, people will say “the fonts off, the spacing is wrong” and have no clue how often Rolex change the dial layout.

You’ll find a lot of reps are surprisingly accurate if you find the dial iteration it’s replicating.


That said, you only need to look at the hand shape, lume application and 6 o clock marker in the zoomed pic you posted to see it’s most likely gen
