Hi RWI fans!

I just received my first Breitling Rep. A Breitling SuperOcean II, bought from Ryan from Intime:

But there is a problem with the watch... When pulling the stem out to adjust date/time, it goes straight in the second mode. The mode to adjust the date. So it is not possible to wind the watch. Setting the date and time right is possible. But when tightening the stem, the date jumps 4 or 5 days further... Does anybody know what causes this problem? How can it be solved?

Ryan offered me 2 options. Sending it back for repair (shipping costs are my problem) or accept a 25$ refund for repair cost if I can find a local watchsmith.

What do you guys think is the best option?

I have no clue...

In my opinion your best choice is to find a watchsmith on RWI or a local watchsmith that will work on Reps. I always look at the repair costs as the cost of buying reps.
