Hello everyone, just finished reading few threads about the best SOH reps. Got a bit of info about what to look for and which one to buy etc. What I didn't come across is this color that I am interested in.
The TD websites have this color but I haven't seen someone review it.

Also please comment on the reliability of the movement A2824.

I have 3 of SOH II in Stainless. You won't find a better Rep than Breitlings made by GF. If this is a watch you intend to wear every day you should stay with the Stainless versions. If this is occasional wear it will be fine.

I will be wearing it regularly. How is the movement A2824 in terms of reliability? Also, is it noisy?

Its a great piece, I just modded my GF with a Swiss ETA movement, OEM rubber strap and Prof AR swiss crystal.

That looks dope. Did you compare it with the Gen? Or is there any comparison done anywhere?

No comparison i have seen, but for the money, its certainly close enough!

When did you get it? Do you wear it often? I am a bit worried about gold plating on the bezel it might fade with regular use or changes color over time.

I don't buy gold watches for that exact reason, but many members have had gold watches for years with little issue, its just how well you take care of them. I went for this as its only the bezel, so no skin contact, I don't see any reason why it should fade.

Worst case you could always get it replated, but by then there will be a different watch you want anyway

Sweet lord that is a gorgeous combination. I'd never noticed that model while browsing TD's websites (nor Breitling's actually!). By natural light it looks absolutely stunning.

To answer Darktempler A2824 movements are ok and pretty reliable. Of course swapping to a real swiss ETA is always worth the upgrade.

A review would be nice, anyone?
Anyway I put this one in my "must try" drawer.
