SuperOcean Heritage arrived today... initial thoughts

The new SO Heritage arrived today and it is... big... and nice. REAL nice.

Initial observations:

Very nice fit and finish...
Excellent, crisp dial and markers...
Very good lume on hands, quite bright at first but fades rather fast...
Decent starp with nice deployment...
Pretty accurate so far in the first 4 hours (+1)...


I will try and snap some shots tomorrow and post em'.

Has anyone repped the rubber strap? I think it has graduated sized holes down it. I liked this watch when the gen came out. What color? Now if they would just rep a blancpain 50 fathoms....Tracy

I was initially against this watch, didnt want to have anything to do with it... but it is now growing on me.

I did not particularly care for this watch when I saw the pictures. I handled a Gen in red and black yesterday and have to say I liked it even less in person. It just does not do it for me. Of course that is just my opinion. I have no aversion to watches this size but to me it was too large for the design.

And for all you guys with the Omega comments... I have been very close to buying an UPO for since they came out, but I did not need another "above average" submariner style watch. But this Breitling is outstanding. If you think it looks like an Omega, then it's an Omega done right!

Very nice. Mine just arrived from Silix..and the same (type) of mesh band from Texas. Didn't really like the electric blue leather band it came with. Had to go blue tho....too many black and reds in my watch box!
