I have not seen anyone offering the bracelet yet. Silix has the nicest Swiss w/double AR right now. Angus is offering one now also with a different Swiss mvmnt.

silix is good, but i also heard that their communication is nto that great and the watch will take quite long to come to you ..is that true ?
and do they really test each of their watches for water proofed and water resistant ?

Silix can be trusted, yes they are a week or so slower with delivery than some of the other dealers.
Don't believe they test anything, they are a price leader not a QC leader.
Communication not bad a little slower andlikely worse if there is a problem.
Overall a littlemore risk than a Angus, Josh, Andrew, etc... but at a lower pricefor the same watch (Josh and Andrew do not sell this model yet, so my comments are in general not watch specific)

I have dealt with Silix on a number of occasions and his communication may not be as fast as some of the others, but he always comes through with great product at great prices. If there is a problem it always gets resolved properly. If you need immediate response and hand holding during your purchase then I suggest you pay the extra and buy elsewhere.
Hi, ALL. I too have been searching for the SOH in blue, more particularly with DOUBLE AR, which is important to me. I finally decided on Silix and emailed him to confirm.

I just called the watchmaker on the AR coating. And he swore to me it is double AR coated. I read the review as well, it says the coating is single layer. So honestly, I do not know which side is right. But one thing for sure, the AR coating is really strong. Please let me know what u want to know about the rubber strap. It is a very good quality strap. The PAM 24mm black leather strap with deployment buckle is US$40. Nice day.
I'm now confused and am continuing searching the sites. Anyone with the info please PM me.

In general, most watches are apples to apples.
If Josh, Silix, Angus, Andrew, Ruby, etc.. all have a watch and the movements are the same you can assume they are the same and made at the same factory.
Therefore your double AR hunt from different dealers would be an exercise in futility.
I have this watch, not from Silix, but again same thing it is the ETA version, I would not disagree that it is double AR coated, but it is a somewhat weak double AR factory coating that may be the equal of a high quality single AR coating.
An aftermarket double AR coating is much better, but no dealers offer any watch with AR like that.
I would say the AR is close to my Swiss SFSO, maybe slightly worse, but very close.
Not as good as factory AR double on IWC CD or HBB Ultimate versions,but still close.
Compared to our aftermarket double AR options, all factory options are inferior.
Conclusion: not all double AR coatings are created equal.
If Silix says it has Double AR believe it, but if a respected member reviews it and says it looks like a single AR, believe it.
In my opinion the AR is good, not great. Good enough that I don'tever envision myself upgrading the AR coating, but crazier things have happened.

I'd say Silix also and yeah all the mesh bracelets I've seen are unbranded. It's a cool look for it (not my thing though) but I'm waiting for rep of the Ocean Racer rubber to come out for it. If Josh could make a version as good as his 1:1 UPO one is I'd be up for one. If not then I'll probably cave-in and get a gen strap.
I have the SOH Brown and my mesh strap from the bay arrived yesterday (postie wouldnt deliver as it was registered) so ill pick up in the morning. The rep deployment it came on was crap, the movement is great, the Double AR is fantastic (dissapearing crystal). I have yet to wear it as the deployment just is poor. Hopefully the mesh will look good so ill post pics tomorrow. The ocean racer strap is like $400 from an AD!! but it is thick.. The chrono rep version has just come out so i may get the black version of that.
