Superocean 42mm AB2010 OMF question

Looking at the following on the intime website [h=1]SuperOcean 42mm AB2010 SS OMF 1:1 Best Edition White Dial Black Ceramic Bezel on Black Rubber strap A2824[/h]
Anyone got one of these and care to comment on the quality? Is it worth getting the metal bracelet version instead? I actually think it looks better.

I've read a lot of positive comments about the GF versions which I understand are no longer available though could be making a return. Is the difference that noticeable it is worth waiting to see?

I have many GF watches. I recently bought 2 OMF SOH 46mm's with mesh bracelets. The watches are fine but I did change the bracelets to Staib because I liked the quality of the Staib better.

GF quality was unbelievable for the price, as was V6F for Omega, I was disappointed with noob superocean and have not tried OMF but from the pictures I would not buy on the current offering but I am picky and nothing I really like! Research the watch you want and any differences to gen and quality to avoid disappointment when you receive it.

The dial and dial insert were different shades of black which didn't really match to the black rubber bezel insert. As I said I'm a little picky

@mp.law Thanks to RWI I enjoy this hobby because my goal is to try to find the best Rep possible. I also enjoy watches. If the watch is 90% perfect I will buy it because I enjoy the watch. In my circle of people that know me most don't know the difference between a Breitling or an Omega. The one person I know that is aware of the different watches I wear buys Gens and Reps. In the end, I wear what I like and don't care what people think. My wife notices the little brown boxes when they arrive. But I just bring up the subject of shoes. With all that said. GF is very good, OMF is OK.

So I received my OMF SOHII 42mm in blue/cream today. Several issues...first, the caseback references a model AB2020 (the 46mm version). Second, the watch is now supposedly assembled with the older style hands, not the new shape with the split lume on the hour hand. Third, the overall quality feels like a $100 rep, not a $328 quality version. When I first unscrewed the crown to wind and set the date, it felt like the crown tube was going to break off. Everything about it is a little 'off'. Definitely NOT quality like the GF version. Not even close. The clasp on the provided rubber strap feels very cheap and thin. And the biggest sin of all.... NO AR whatsoever! I cannot recommend this rep.

I did have the noob some time ago and have seen the gen, maybe I’m too picky or I just didn’t take to it but IMO GF and much better. I flipped the noob and only have GF and HF now and wouldn’t buy any other Breitling offerings that are currently out...well maybe the Transocean.

As you wrote, it would be alright for a 100$ rep but the OMF is ... ... a little bit more expensive !
I really love the SOH II AB2010, so I stay tuned for GF's return.
