It does glow blue wiz BUT I think that the DSSD uses the same lume as the BR03-92 i.e. C1... I've held the gen and its the same colour (aqua) and same brightness......
I think too that W9 is a royal or true blue not the greeny blue....
I talked with the sales lady from tritec over the phone about 2 weeks ago, she told me that Rolex is getting their pigments from them for the DSSD, and that Rolex has patented the "formula" of the DSSD's lume, but that Tritec issued the W9 so it is the closest to the DSSD lume as it could be without breaking Rolex's patent.
B&R is known for his poor lume, but I think the problem is more that they don't apply enough lume.
A few month back I sent a BR01 dial to Goin for a relume job. He applied a thicker layer of lume, and the dial was glowing like a torch, way better than any gen B&R I've seen.
