Of all brands, I'd think panerai watches would be the easiest to replicate in terms of look and feel because of their very simple designs; but why is it that there're flaws here and there? anybody in the know? for the case, do the watchmakers buy a genuine one, produce a cast, then mass produce replicated ones? I also don't understand why it is so hard to make the dials correct when they're capable of making the cases correct? Isn't the problem solved if they use a genuine dial?

"Super-Lumed" can mean all kinds of things, depending on who's saying it.
Pretty much anything where the std rep 'green paint' lume has been gone over with a luminous compound can get called "Super-Lumed" but I think most would expect it to be re-lumed using Tritec Super-Luminova product or at least a substitute that comes somewhere near.
Problem is that good quality non branded luminous compound sells to the trade at about $225 per Kilo whereas Super-Luminova is typically more than 10 times that price.

My experience is that my genuine watches shine very brightly at first, and slowly fade ove the course of an evening.
My old school "super rep" Fiddy is absolute light sabers when fully charged, but the rate of decay is much swifter and levels off at a very dim output in just a couple of hours. It stays visible for several hours, but the illumination initially drops quickly. The dealer (no longer around) called it Superluminova. If it is, I think he thinned it too much, or used a corollary product for dollar savings, as Rocketeer mentioned.
