Superfranken Rebuild VSF 116610ln by watchservicesny

This is a rebuild of a superfranken by Mike. The watch started out on a Noob v10 midcase with a VR13135. Gen parts were:

bezel
insert
xtal
hands
dial
dw
autowind module

I picked up a new gen crown, gen stem, VS3135 movement, VSF s29 midcase and also asked Mike to polish the rehaut. Mike cleaned and serviced the VS movement and while doing that he discovered that the old gen winding module was damaged beyond repair and replaced it with a new one that he had on hand. Regulated to less than +1sd and pressure tested to at least 10atm. Here's the result:

Paid $3900 for the original configuration here: https://forum.replica-watch.info/th...ex-submariner-116610ln-new-worldwide.9612867/. Then another $400 or so for the new case, crown, stem, and autowind module. $4300 before service costs. Don't want to quote the price for MIke's work without his permission, but it was very, very reasonable.

I’ll second that. Mike Frankensteined my movement, serviced and water proof to 10 bars and it was very reasonable $300 for service which included installing several gen parts I provided to return the movement to its original configuration. Mike has parts but I didn’t know that originally. His work is impressive and I’m very happy with everything he’s done. We’re very fortunate to have him.
