Happy New Year!

While I've been doing some RWI reading over the past several months, I've finally decided to register and get knee's deep in your constantly-evolving industry. I've long had my doubts regarding purchasing my third replica (bought a Rolex Daytona Platinum and DateJust for my wife several years ago from Ryan), but can't say I've been too happy or knowledgeable back in the day.

With that being said, one of my NYE Resolutions were to build my first two Superfranken. One AP 15400 and one PP Nautilus. Having browsed through the forum and reading multiple threads regarding Frankens, modders, etc. I must admit that I remain confused as to the best process to take. Funding isn't really a limit for me in this experiment, and I am more than happy to buy (for instance) two identical models from separate factories and then mix&match, however by reading the forums alone - I wasn't able to wrap my head around the optimal journey I should be taking.

In all honesty, I am posting this thread in hopes that one of the more experienced members in the forum would be kind enough to walk with me hand-in-hand in this journey, which I will document and hopefully be able to post one of the most comprehensive Superfranken Creation Threads and a Rep vs. Gen Comparison of both of these popular watches - as a thank you and benefit for the rest of the community.

I am based in Dubai, so would need to find a great modder/watch-expert here as well to do the practical work - but generally speaking and since I know which models I wish to ultimately purchase and mod, I assume the process would be as follows:

1. Determine which 2-3 models (i.e. factories) of each watch I should be buying.
2. Determine which parts in each of the purchased watches are pristine and understand which should be the base-model and what parts must be exchanged.
3. Understand which parts are insufficient in quality/accuracy across all models that were bought, and source the relevant parts from third-parties (whether GEN or eBay).
4. Determine who is the best watch-expert in my area (or any other area to which I can ship the watches) who can do the actual modding.
5. Assemble and perfect the final Franken, polish it, thin it if necessary, etc.
6. Ship to my location with minimal customs risk and the smoothest delivery options.

I'd highly appreciate if some of you can respond/DM so that we can start this process together. I've seen so many experienced members being helpful to others and I am such a n00b that it would be an absolute pleasure to learn from some of you on this new journey for me.

I look forward to hearing back from you.
