Hi friends, I am just going to present my brother with a nice rep of 372 on super clone P3000. It will be his daily beater watch and, despite I do own several superclone-based reps - I cannot confirm that the watch using this movement will survive daily use for a year or more...

Can anyone confirm his experience of using a rep with super clone 3000 as daily beater watch for some prolonged time?

It's solid. You get him a decent strap and that will be a great daily wearer. [emoji1360]

suppose it depends what your (his) day consists of? if say you dig the roads or clean drains for a weekly wage then i'd be inclined to say no, but if you just get fat driving a desk for a multinational conglomerate where you're just a pawn in a multimillion dollar chess game, then it may be more suitable.

horses for courses really ;)

I'd still get Noob 372 with non-superclone movement, put closed cb on it and you have a great watch at half the price of superclone which might be problematic and hard to service if something goes wrong.

I've had the PAM617 with the superclone P.3000 movement for more than a year already (I bought it last year's CNY) and although it hasn't been a daily beater, I've worn it for at least a total of a month, on and off. Still keeps on ticking. But @shelby1501 has a pretty good idea, Noob PAM372 with a solid caseback, no worries with the bulletproof A6497 movement underneath. :)

I have a 375 with the superclone p3000 v4 for at least 8 months and it gets 2-3 days of wrist time within my rotation. No problems whatsoever!

You do? I didn't know they made a 375 with a superclone. I always thought the best version came with a 6497 P3000 lookalike aka v4

Thank you all for the input. So it is quite safe bet then. My brother definitely needs "desk diver" so no additional, bad influences on the watch movement. Interesting, I just got my PAM 372 from SF serviced by my local watch smith. I told him than assembling the whole thing back is a procedure known as quite difficult. He said "we will see...". When I got it back, I asked "so how it was?" and he replied that he managed it "normal" way, as with some old Russian movements - gravity is a help and something about holding the whole movement in almost vertical position while assembling the bridge... the guy is over 60 y.o. and probably saw many things in his watch smith life ;)

I really like your post!

That separates a real watchsmith with many years of experience from us newbies.

Big respect for this old masters.

This is my "daily beater" and probably my favorite PAM watch right now. It is a SF-based super clone 372 with lots of gen parts (dial, hands, blah blah). I like it better than my gen 372: the super clone has longer power reserve and I feel I can wear the watch around carelessly. I am selling my gen 372 to a friend right now, and keeping this.
