Super reps and mod prices

Curious what everyone thinks of the impact the new "super reps" are going to have on prices of modded watches. For those of us who are not super anal about the accuracy of the watch these provide fairly good reps without spending 1000$+. Well aware that no matter how good they get there will always be room for improvement and modding will continue but this has got to eat some of the mod market. So will mod prices lower to compete or become a smaller niche with higher prices?

The guys who build the most expensive modded reps will have to either improve their watches or lower their prices if they want to attract as much customers as before.

yes. this will for sure have an impact on the modding market.
the better the reps get, the more the modding market will have to change.

maybe it'll switch... like into just making watches that the factories don't offer
by fabricating certain missing links and then taking parts to complete them from
the factory super reps.

vintage stuff will always probably be expensive and fairly rare.
repped vintage stuff may be a new mini wave to come through.

it'll be a great move for the factories, they'll really up their sales.
and as new/better versions come out of previously repped ones, the
older versions will drop quite a bit in value too.

I could see a market for high quality fantasy reps, especially if the purchaser can spec what he wants changed.

For modded yes, but I sure the Franken versions (like gen dial, movement) have a better chance to keep the prices.

I think we're mostly talking about the pam 111 reps here. Gen parts for these are so rare that the franken thing is marginal really.
