Super Avenger, White Dial

Here are photos of my new Super Avenger from Perfect Clones. A few of them have been slightly sharpened to "pop" the details of the dial.

The dial is stunning in good light. (These photos were not taken in good light.) The metals accents of the subdials and the metal of the hands and hour numbers sparkle and gleam in the sun or under good lighting, like a jewelers lights.

You already know how big it is, but are a few shots of it next to the Skyland.

The clasp is a bit fuddly, but it latches cleanly with some care. It must be worn tight on the wrist. You don't want something this big flopping around.

Overall Impression: a very well-made replica and a joy to wear. It probably won't fit under most of my shirt sleeves, though.


Lastly, the delivery of my SA was delayed because Josh was sending me a replacement bracelet for my Skyland Avenger. Now it's ready to compete for wrist time with the SA and GMT-II C!

doc, i am hearing complaints about the bracelet being too thin and not like the gen. have you compared yours to a gen? if the watch was made one to one with a gen being used for a guide i don't understand why they would have made it like that.

Yes the rep bracelet it about 60% of the thickness of a gen proII bracelet

Not sure why they did this, but its not even close.

I have the SOSF in white, too. This dial is better IMO.

The SA doesn't, which gives the dial a silkier, creamy (but not yellow or beige at all) appearance. Pictures fail to capture the brilliance:

I haven't compared mine to a gen, but I'll take the word of dizz and the others.

A guy put a gen bracelet on his SA rep and said it fit fine. But what's a Pro 2 gen cost? More than the rep?

Does anyone know how the lume compares to the gen? Is the gen superlumed? I'm just trying to decide on having it shipped to me or off to the modder for lume work.

Man Doc, that white dial looks terrible! :lol: I'm so sick of everyone's white dial SA! That's MY watch! Where are the black dials? You guys are driving me crazy. I waited patiently for a newer version, and now EVERYONE has my next watch! It was bad enough having to look at Dave's for the last 6 months. Meanwhile I'm still saving funds (only due to a poor economy, of course) :twisted: Maybe someone will tire of their's soon...but I'm not holding my breath [smilie=happy4.gif] By the way, just letting some of you know there's a FRESH white Big Bang for sale. I`m with LoganX3.The only thing that worries me is this talk about how thick the bracelet is.Is the Pro II as thick as the Pro I bracelet and if the Pro I is thicker can a member who is interested in purchasing an SA can they get it with the Pro I bracelet instead? :?

So I got both the SA and the Skyland on a pro2 bracelet.
The skyland bracelet is thicker than the one that comes on te super avenger.
