Panerai watches to me are casual yet classic, sturdy yet elegant, simple yet refined in detail. I just never get bored and always feel comfortable with them. Every piece I own is like a little friend. Sometimes I even feel embarrassed, thinking I have too many, so I don't pay enough attention to each one of them individually ;-)

I have some difficulties to describe why I love them, the different materials for the subs, the endless strap combos possibilities, making her a very versatile watch, me change of strap can make her a work sport watch to an elegant evening piece... The 1950 47mm line is simply stunning, lots of personality, a little Italian exuberance with Swiss quality.

The are overall very understated luxury pieces which really appeal to me, much less "in your face" then an AP offshore, I think they dress the owner as someone mature, in the know, an old money guy that knows how to be audacious without being vulgar...

A few weeks ago I visited an AD. I remember that I had a special feeling while I was watching those panerais. I asked myself "Why I feel like this? I am not a child anymore."

Panerai was my first love in high end watches because of the simple, modern dials and design. All other watches seemed to have too much print on the dial (Rolex) or a dial that was overcrowded with needless ornaments. I started with the simpler classic historical Panerai series, and only much later started to like the more complicated ones.

Honestly I have no idea what makes me feel the way I do about panerai. When I saw panerai watches the first time I thought they were ugly as hell (back in 2006 ish) After having one I can't get enough of them it's weird! They feel great and there is just something about them. I keep on trying to find another one to add and keep on reading about them for hours.

When I see someone wearing a PAM it tells me they know a little more about watches and didn't just go for the standard Rolex, breitling, etc. I have those but always lusted after a gen panerai as I felt my collection wouldn't be complete without one. Ive owned a few rep PAMS and loved them but just ordered a gen 380. Will likely get more reps as I'm sure one won't be enough!!

The distinctive look and limited production – Great collectability

We have a lot of types from sporty to dressy with a lot of good choices with great quality

Quality and price
There are many PAM replicas with awesome quality, almost impossible to detect and with very reasonable prices
Prices of Pam Super replicas are usually reasonable and lower than equivalent Super reps of other brands like AP or Hublot.

Information
There is a lot of good info in forums regarding PAM replicas with very detailed reviews. In this way people can select the reps and make their choices assuring that they will buy the watch they want with the quality they are looking for.

PAM rep are credible
The price of many GEN PAMs is not as high as to make the reps few credible.
Many real fans of PAM brand could buy a GEN PAM if they really want it.
It is not the same with brands like AP, Breguet, Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, Hublot…
Reps of PAms are not as known as Rolex reps for example.
A rep PAM is usually not automatically taken as rep

I don't think I have enough words to describe it, at least in english
Anyway at first I was more curious than attracted, PAMs looked unbalanced and somewhat ordinary to me. Then, once I had my first PAM on the wrist, I realized what everybody was talking about.
Something about the contrast between the simple dial and the chunky case with that "ear" covering the crown. Something about the shape of the numbers, so modern yet so old. Something about the strenght transmitted by the case. Something about a watch that's at home in a military mission as well as at an elegant dinner.
And of course something about having so many strap to choose

Panerai got me into the rep game. I bought a 253 about 4 years ago from a guy on youtube. I didn't even know it was a rep because I never heard of the brand at that time.

Some time advanced and I wanted another piece, the guy from youtube vanished so I did a little googling on Panerai. I ended up on chrono24 and found out that my watch was a rep due to all the prices. So I figured I needed a rep and googled some more and ended up on RWG.

I just love the brand. The story, the history, everything! To me a Panerai is cool, tough, elegant, simple, defined, etc. I love every single piece! When a member proudly posts pics of his new PAM, I embrace him like a brother. I love lurking in the "what PAM are you wearing today?" thread to see nice combos and to quench my thirst...
