Hello. My first post.

Just received my rep Submariner 41mm 126610 LV Green Ceramic 904L Steel Clean Factory Best Edition S3235.

Really happy with the finish and appearance etc.

Adjusted the strap, removed the film to do so and put it on.

Within a couple of hours I noticed that it was already losing time.

I've just tested it and it's lost 8 minutes in 28....

Anyone else experienced this and can give advice?

Would you recommend a replacement or an attempt to repair it? I'm uk based...

Thanks in advance.

Is it fully would?

Regardless it probably requires a service. What did the timegrapher show during the QC

Hello - thanks for your replies.

It has the Asia Clone New Custom VS3235 Automatic Movement. The timegrapher showed that it was fine - so I think that it is possibly something effecting the flow of the minute hand. I am not an expert however - quite the opposite.

What is weird is that after setting the time to the correct time, the first few minutes after doing that it loses time really quickly. For example I corrected it at 10:13 this morning, by 10:17 is showed 10:14. By 10:21 it was at 10:15 and by 10:27 it was at 10:18.

For the next hour and a half it remained behind by 9 minutes, so it didn't get any worse - it kept decent time.

Really strange. I am in touch with CTime. They initially thought I hadn't wound it enough to get the power reserve up. I have since removed that as a possible reason.

Does anyone have experience of similar problems or enough insight as to whether it can be fixed, and how.

Also, does anyone have a UK based contact that might be able to look at/repair it.

Other than the poor timekeeping it is great..... irony.

Hello - I thought it important to follow up with what happened in this instance.

I reached out to Lucian Solution6 who carries out service work for CTime in the UK. Sent the watch to him and had very thorough responses from him with photographs etc. He quickly identified a couple of problems and resolved them.

The watch was back with me within a week, repaired and working perfectly. I also paid for him to strip and clean the watch mechanism and to test the water resistance (vacuum), whilst it was with him, at my own expense. Really glad that I did.

I have been wearing the watch for 2 days now and it has not lost a second.

Really excellent service. Highly recommended.

Hi - soz but not BS in terms of the VS3235..... here is part of the image sent to me during the service/repair. If it is not Clean Factory then what is it? I am intrigued and potentially have been missold.

I take it back. I misread your initial post. I thought it said vs3235 which is specific to vsf watches. I seen it the 4th or 5th time and it just says s3235. I’ve never heard of a s3235 movement but there it is. The names of these things are confusing and it’s hard to keep track of them all.
What ever it is I’m sure it’s going be fine after the servicing. Clean makes a solid watch. Sorry about that. My bad

No prob - I have to admit to being a massive newbie to all this. But really enjoying it. Since the rep has come back from Lucian it has been worn constantly and has not lost a second. Excellent.
I am looking to get a Tudor rep next and an AP - any suggestions/guidance would be welcome.
I also quite fancy grabbing some tools and having a play myself.

what were the problems ?
The hands were loose. Plus when Lucian opened it up he found tiny fibres in it which he says is often the case with reps. So I had him give it a service, clean up, pressure test etc. When putting it back together the date change was jumping, so that needed a bit of tensioning and it is now currently running great.

I was not overly happy with the fact that the watch was not working properly upon receipt from CTime but fortunately the work done by Lucian as their service contact in the UK was excellent.

That’s good to hear. I’m glad everything got sorted out to your liking. I think it’s best to have these top tier reps serviced from the beginning anyway. I have more confidence in them especially after pressure testing. I don’t have to worry about ruining my watch by washing my dirty mits.
