Hi everyone, I want to add a Rolex submariner next to my genuine 116613ln. First of all I can’t use trusted dealers, where I live it is impossible to pass customs with counterfeit. my only option is to buy from local dealers.



I don’t mind the all black submariner , hulk or Starbucks. I am looking for the watch with the least flaws, I know they are replicas, all have flaws. I can’t verify if they really come from the factories the dealers are mentioning.

• the pearl looks strange and big
• The bezel numbers looks thin.
• The bezel numbers look faded in indirect light.

• The minute hand looks strange and very long.
• The end links are not as good as the hulk (little more sunken than the case lugs)

• The 50 on the bezel is not crisp / dirt / jagged edges, the numbers on the bezel are a little bit fat
• Loud rotor noise when shaken

The dealer is saying it is clean factory

• worst end links of the 3 watches
• The pearl on the bezel not centered
• The bezel numbers are fatter than the startbucks
• Minute hand is long
• Milky crystal ?

I would like to hear submariners expert opinion and help me identify each watch and if it is real VSF/Clean. And which one has the least flaws and what flaws are common of each factory, and if you can point out any more flaws from the pictures. Which one do you think is the most acceptable. They are pretty expensive here.

I'm NOT an expert, still learning also, but I will give you my wild ass speculation on the question you actually asked. Maybe someone else with more knowledge will be prompted to correct me.

It is really hard to tell in the pictures provided but the Starbucks "looks" to be the best of the bunch to me, cannot help on factory.

My wild speculation on the 126610ln is that it is in fact a Clean based on that milky ring and CGs, but likely a QC reject.

The 116610lv just doesn't "feel" right, nothing specific. -I'm only studying the 12 series.

Apparently the loud rotors is a thing with the 12 series reps and possibly even with 12 Gen ????

Since you do not have access to a TD hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in to help.

Yea I agree that out of the bunch the Starbucks looks the most acceptable. What is worrying me is that I didn’t see the long minute hand and seconds hand in any of clean factory recent Starbucks pictures.

It's hard to tell in your pictures how bad the hands are, but I found some Clean QC pictures from TD that appear to also have long hands and they are from the same "milky ring" batch.

Start here and look at all of the pages that follow, lots of pictures from different angles showing long hands.

Even if these are Clean factory, they are obviously rejects for QC issues. The long hands would bother me.
