Two part question if I may:-
1) I am in the market for second sub in stainless steel this time (previous was bi-metal). Should I stick with the tried and tested 3135 or go for the newer 3235 movement, both are available from my seller?
2) My previous sub was from 'Clean' factory, this time he is offering VSF but I know nothing about this factory, any info would be appreciated.

Hello @Jolyon

For me I can just tell you, that those are movements from different Rolex models. the 41mms have the hybrid/clone 3235, and the 40mms (pre 2020 Rolex Models) have the 3135.

With that said, you first have to check what you want, if you want a 40 or 41mm.

If you go for the 40mm I would go for Clean. They have the same movement as VS, are cheaper, and in my opinion have better rehautk, strap, and important aspects than VSF.

For the 41mm version, I would also rely on CLEAN, because the VS3235 (the only true super clone with a 72 power reserve) has a winding issue with the crown wheel, so that when the spring tension is high, it is sometimes not pressed down enough and therefore has trouble.
You don't have the problem with Clean (VR3235). They also have a better polished rehaut finish and an ARF bracelet.

So: Ideal: Clean, 116610 with VS3135.
Second: Clean, 126610(41mm) with VR3135

Hope I could help.

Many thanks for the helpful info. I will hold out for a 'clean' 3135.
