Submariner 124060LN VSF Movement....First Time purchase on a REP and with TheOneWatches.

Greetings Everyone...

First Time ever on RWI and after reading so many reviews, etc., I was able to find a TD, but am still apprehensive with the whole process.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with theonewatches, Number +86 170 8193 4955, and asked if it was Steve. Seems like the number is the same as what others used, but I'm still nervous. Hahaha.

After completing payment through PayPal, correspondence stopped. Not a good sign, but I'll wait. The item, a black Submariner no date VSF is in stock so I'm hoping QC will happen within the three days. Hopefully it will be good enough to GL it.

Stayed tuned I guess.

I'd suggest you take time and read up on how the purchase system works. This isn't Amazon and there isn't a timeline that your TD will adhere to. There are many variables out of their control and it's your responsibility to educate yourself on them. They are trusted dealers for a reason.

I fully expect the unexpected. Luckily they did respond back. It's a waiting game now, but they seem positive they'll have a QC in 3 days. No worries. I've had to wait on custom watches far longer than 3 days. It's just that this is truly my first REP. But thanks for the heads up.

Wow! Ok. I apologize. I have seen others share theirs so I wasn't aware. I will remove them ASAP. I wish there was a rules list in here. I don't remember seeing anything like that so...it'd be nice. So far it seems I just upset this Forum. I need to read up, I can't share QC's. Steve never said anything either so a list of do's and don't's might help newcomers like myself. Again...apologies.

Not sure. I'm just finding it out now. But I've requested it deleted. Kinda weird since I've seen others who've posted their watches and QC's. One guy downloaded all of his and posted it so I'm confused to why we can't just share a link. Oh well....I'll just follow since I'm new. I just figured it'll help the next guy who's looking to buy...since it'll also bring buyers to the TD's. A win-win!

In that case I should be ok because I am definitely new and, other than photos I can compare with from the Rolex website, I figured some of the guys can look it over for me in here to see if they can catch any irregularities my lack of expertise might miss. I figured this might be a better forum than Reddit for this kind of thing. Doubt...? I have no expertise in what to look for in comparing the accuracy of a REP to a Rolex. I have all kinds of doubt.

Thank you so much. Though I've never had a Rolex, I've had an Oris, an Omega, a Tag (all of which I've given away as heirlooms), but rarely ever wore them (like four times each in 20 years). I could never bring myself to get a Rolex cause I know I'd never wear it. It'd be worse than those other watches. I figured I won't feel so bad with a REP if I scratch it.

IT TOOK TEN DAYS....
Well. I ordered this on the 30th...QC'd on the 31st. From there it took ten days. I was still sleeping when the doorbell rang. One of the employees answered the door and brought me a package. I had completely forgotten about the order as I was thinking it was another week out. Nope. I hadn't bothered to check the packaging information as the photo was actually sent to me. I just saw my name and started to open it. I figured since it was the Holiday Season that it might be a present. It was when I was about halfway through that it surprised me that it had arrived.
What a gorgeous timepiece. I still have the protective covering on. I'll test it to make sure everything is as it should be, but initial tests show this watch is very accurate. This is now my most accurate watch despite having other brands like Oris, Rado, Seiko, Steinhart, Tag. I know, I know...with all those other brands why get this watch when I could afford one outright. Simple. In 35 years, I wore my Tag (top of the line at the time) 5 times. In 20 years (again, top of the line) I wore my Oris 10 times. In 4 years, I wore my Rado 4 times. If I had a Submariner...I'd probably never wear it.
