Id advise not going to that modder if they're charging that for a simple swapNice for those wanting to learn to do it themselves instead of spending 100-220$ to have a modder do it [emoji106]

Of course you can push the bezel back on a rep Sub by hand. It's pretty easy. But it requires that the plastic bezel retainer ring is correclty in place within the bezel. The video from the first post has to be about the gen or something.
I disassembled a rep and there is no way to push the bezel back with the hands only.
Found this excellent thread by @mike00 who used a press for that job.

its a different bezel design. Similar concept though. Same method to removeHmm, I have a crpo with a tiny bit of a bezel insert alignment issue...I wonder if the same method applies
If it's a small alignment issue you can use a hairdryer to heat up the insert glue. Wear gloves with friction & over-correct the insert, as it will move back a hair when the glue resettles. This saves you from popping the whole bezel assembly off.Hmm, I have a crpo with a tiny bit of a bezel insert alignment issue...I wonder if the same method applies

I have had all kinds of problems with my noob v7...I assumed I could remove the bezel as I would GEN, just like the aforementioned video...so many problems, first the crystal stayed with the bezel when I popped it off...long story short noob v7 bezel assembly is NOT GEN specrep or gen can be pressed on using your fingers pretty easy.
if its requiring a press, theres a chance the bezel gasket is screwed up. And using a press will only confound the issue.
I dont know what you were doing or who screwed it up before you got it, but short story shorter, it isI have had all kinds of problems with my noob v7...I assumed I could remove the bezel as I would GEN, just like the aforementioned video...so many problems, first the crystal stayed with the bezel when I popped it off...long story short noob v7 bezel assembly is NOT GEN spec

How did you do that?Okey, I wasn't thinking about the gasket as have been focused on this steel (tension?) ring.

Is it in a correct position now?
What's the best way to reinstall:
- first, ring into the bezel and all of that pressed on the case?
- or other way round, the ring on the case and then press the bezel?
Thanks
How did you do that?
The last 2 v7s ive worked on I couldnt get the ring off without popping the xtal off as well.
