Sub no date - Clean or VSF

Hello,

I looking to buy a Sub no date and I believe Clean and VSF currently make the best ones but which one do people consider to be the best?

I believe the VSF movement is the better of the two but it currently only comes with the VS3235 movement (ghost date). Does anyone know if they will be brining out a VS3230 movement?

If you’re going to franken it, go VSF, Clean has parts in the bezel
Assembly that don’t exist in the gen, and it creates problems

As far as the movement issue, I believe zerocool and another modder here, made a new lever switch to fix the rep movement to Gen comparison features…. I’d have to go find the post

If you want a VS movement you can go for the VSF 114060. That one uses a VS3130 movement with no date ghost position.
Good alternative in my opinion

Since I myself was faced with the decision, I struck VSF with this model because of the clockwork.

Xtal is not better IMO on VS (no cyclopse), bracelet and rehaut polish on CLEAN way more better ATM. Plus, no sfloating m

I'm also leaning towards VSF. Because I'm a sucker for VSF watches since I love their Omega and Panerai offerings.

But as general rule of thumb, when it comes to Rolex reps, you can't go terribly wrong with either VSF or Clean. Both are on a high level and perhaps for a newbie, not necessarily in this case — but just to put it on the record for others (because, let's face the reality here, newbies are often very nervous & impatient about their first couple of purchases), my recommendation would be to ask the TD which factory has the shorter waiting time and go with CF or VSF based on that, rather than setting my brain on fire trying to figure out the individual strengths and weaknesses of each factory which can be quite stressing if you're new to the rep game.
