Sub Franken Build ARF/VSF/GEN Parts

I'm confused. You say it's a VSF Franken with with everything gen except the movement. And then that it has an ARF case with "ARF, VSF, and GEN parts in this build".
If it's a VSF Franken with everything gen except the movement, shouldn't it have a VSF case and movement, and then everything else is gen? Sorry if I'm missing something. Eitehr way, it's a very nice looking Sub.
Looking at the watch, it looks like:
- ARF: case, hands and bracelet
- Gen: crystal, dial, date wheel
- VSF: movement, bezel & insert, crown

So maybe I wasn’t clear in the original post but I’m doing two builds. One on an ARF v3 case and the other on the VSF case.
this is the watch build on the ARF case which consists of various ARF/VSF/ and Gen parts.
you where close but actually ZATAM got it pretty close.
it’s ARF Case, Bracelet, Hands, Crown and Movement, VSF Dial and Bezel/Insert Assembly, and Gen Crystal and Gen Date wheel.

yea I could not get my ARF Bracelet to properly fit the VSF Case, The SEL recess was lopsided.

Lol so the watch is ugly because of the lume mismatch? Yes in the photo the hands are a bit whiter than the dial but in person it’s not noticeable and in the dark the lume is actually a great match.
Who will take a look at your watch in the dark? ARF hands are good but you'll be happier with ZZF hands. You will notice that mismatch everytime you look at your watch.

Thanks and yea the VSF case is getting the Gen Dial, Gen Hands, Gen Date wheel, Gen Crystal, Gen Bezel/Insert assembly , and Gen crown and tube.
I’ll post once it’s completed.

Good to know this. I almost purchased an arf bracelet for my vsf thinking it should fit.

From what I’ve read it seems like some other members have made it work but it seems to be hit or miss. Once you oil the bracelet it’s really comparable to the ARF so it wouldn’t really be a big upgrade.
How's the VSF build coming along? I got a vsf as well, only thing that bothers me is the misaligned rehaut.

Sweet. I ordered a gen date wheel ($100) and rubber gasket set ($40) for my watchmaker to try and get this thing legit swim worthy. I have come to accept the "R" misalignment... on the wrist it's not noticeable to me. Thought about getting hands, but thats another $$$ or so unless you come across a deal.
