I had seen Fastman119's thread on Cartel vs. Vietnam 1675 and he used a very cool trick with pictures. Link below

After that post, I was inspired to do something similar to it that resembles a good comparison.
I figured I do something similar with the case on our most popular subs. The ARF/V9/Gen.
ARF= The ARF was a 116610 LN that I had turned into a 114060 no date. All of it is stock but the dial, it is gen.-2824
V9= Gen parts include, dial, insert bezel assembly, crystal, SH3135 serviced movement, and DW. The rest is stock V9 Noob. Im probably missing items but Im comparing cases.
Gen= from the R factory
So many of folks have wondered when we had said that the ARF had fatter lugs and the crown guards were off. In my video...I used graph paper to keep the cases very close to starting points. I had then marked three dots on them so when I layered the photos, they would line up. The camera is sitting stationary to eliminate any play with angles.
I played around with layers from an app ProCreate and set each picture on a different layer. Then I had recorded the results. I used the gen as the main layer, then toggled through the ARF, and last V9 compare it to the gen.
Pay attention to the lugs, crown guards of the ARF. It is the No date sub and watch it toggle back and forth vs. the gen. You can see the difference in the lugs and the crown guards. Lugs are shorter. Notice the bezel also. the teeth is skinnier and sharper than the gen. Because the crown sits lower on this top view...it makes the crown look different but its pretty good.
Now at around :40 secs, the Noob v9 kicks toggles in vs gen. The case is very close. It's not 100% but you bet cha its very close. Also look at the CG's and the bezel. CG's are just a tad tall. Everything else lines up, cause its gen.
This is the first video of pictures that can show the difference in the case shapes. I hope you found it helpful. If you like the video..click the like button, thanks!
