I received a tan dublin leather strap for my 386 earlier last afternoon
its a little narrow on the ends (lugs and buckle side) by probably 1mm
any ideas how to stretch this out?

thanks!

Get it wet and pull the sides. You could even use 2 pairs of pliers to do that. Just put something between the pliers and the leather as to not leave marks. But I think you might just be out of luck. Once you're wearing it and it's being pulled lengthwise, it might stretch back.

You should be sending it back for a properly sized replacement. Stretching the leather may not prove to be a permanent fix, it will most likely go back to the smaller size after you wear it a few times.
