Strap sizes

As a noob to this game I am currently in the process of purchasing a 172 Tantalium w/functional Swan's Neck from Epoch and I was looking for advice on the strap size. Since I have an 8" wrist I was worried that the standard strap will be too small. Does anyone have any experience with fitting a larger wrist? Are longer straps available?

Larger straps are available. You'll beed a 24/xx for the 172 (I believe). Check out the dealer section here and you can see some of the strap sellers out there. For starters, try http://www.tcstraps.com

What the 24/24, 26/26, and 22/22 means is that there is no tapering at the ends of the straps. We also have a tapered strap for use with the stock buckle that comes with the Panerai watches, be sure to check it out.We will be stocking straps in the following 5
sizes:

* 110/65 (16 to 17 cm /6.3-6.7in wrist size)
* 115/70 (17 to 18 cm /6.7-7.0 in wrist size)
* 120/75 (18 to 19 cm /7.0-7.5 in wrist size)
* 125/80 (19 to 20 cm /7.5-7.8 in wrist size)
* 130/85 (20 to 21 cm /7.8-8.2 in wrist size)

Please note that having a Padded or thicker construction strap may affect how the straps fit and you might consider going up one size.We will be able to special order the following sizes:

* 105/60 (15 to 16 cm /5.9-6.3 in wrist size)
* 135/90 (21 to 22 cm /8.2-8.6 in wrist size)
