Strap Preference: tapered or not?

I'm ordering a few straps and am debating between tapered vs untapered 26mm straps.

I kind of like the untapered look more, or maybe a slight tapering 26/24. I find the 26/22 tapering to be too pronounced. Although having all straps tapered to the same size would certainly make it easier and not require having buckles of all sizes and colors!

What do you guys prefer?

I like a mixture of all of them, the 26/22 taper looks a little smarter, the 26/26 more casual

I agree with superspark that 26/26 is more casual but that’s the look I like. I have almost all 26/26 and the only tapered straps I have are the rubber which are too utilitarian to be dressy. But with Panerai, dressy isn’t a look I’m going for.

Do you guys know where I can buy a rep Panerai buckle (with Panerai name or logo on it), 26mm in black metal or PVD coated? I can only find 22mm or 24mm

or just search for “Panerai pvd buckle”. Sometimes the listings have options available for size : 22, 24, 26 but if you search that on eBay, you should find some listings.

Yes I tried that, but only sterile buckles come up. None with the name on it. I found some on Etsy as well, but only 22mm and 24mm

Check them out and don’t be afraid to ask the sellers. A lot of times they list them unbranded and either send you branded or at least they have them off to the side and will send them branded if requested.
