Strap help for old school 360

Good morning, PAM Pro’s!

I managed to snag a unicorn this week. An old school 360 with perfect pencil lead DLC. I’m looking for some strap suggestions.

Back in the long long ago, I had an excellent BOB Coconut that was a fairly good Asso alternative. Fast forward a decade or so….what’s the current go to for a good (but reasonable) Asso?

Also open to other options as well. Pics are encouraged!

If you love your new 360, then perhaps you should commission a strap to your exact specifications from one of the massive selection of strap makers we have to choose from. Many can supply a DLC / darkened buckle to accentuate the case of your 360. I'm sure Simona could provide a perfect asso (suede) strap at a reasonable price.

Edit - just saw that Simona has a sale for many buffalo nubuck (suede) straps at only 60 euros each...

I don’t know about “massive” unless you are referring to strap makers outside of RWI. Most of those dealers haven’t posted in several years. But I understand where you’re coming from.

I have a custom strap on the way from Nero, and it looks amazing. But I was asking more about a readily available alternative to the now discontinued BOB coconut or the standard rep straps. But maybe there is not a many good options without going custom for that style.

My point was that there are many, many strap makers out there that can make you just about whatever you can describe or have pictures to describe.

My favorite straps come from makers that have never even posted on RWI and sell mainly to the gen risti crowd but don't have any issue making straps for the rep enthusiasts. Check out the 'Strapfreaks' thread for a good education on the variety of strap makers and their creations.

Nero makes nice straps for the price. Enjoy!
