I'd been seeing the ads for this new company on the Paneristi sites and decided to try one. I was particularly attracted to the distressed looking straps. Let me tell you this is one incredible strap. I put it on my Davidsen PVD and it's a total winner. Comes in a nice little pouch too.
The price of the strap is $115 but they are running an introductory 35% off. Also I ordered it without their buckle so i could put the Davidsen buckle on and they knocked off another $20.
As to the color, it's been distressed maybe by sanding. They also have a bunch of models that are more standard.
I love Strapculture straps. The quality is astounding, particularly for the price. They follow Apple Computer's style of feel-good packaging - every strap comes in a nicely designed box and/or soft case, and a hang tag. The leathers, of the three that I have owned, are very soft. All the stitching is very nicely finished. Here's my 217 on an "Antiqua" prototype strap:
leitz you got another 217? I love my strap culture straps, but I think they were 45% off when I bought them. The only problem is they have small circular holes that make it difficult to use the panerai engraved buckle. Their buckle is very nice though.
