I just purchased a pam 187G from a fellow member (watchpt) and take delivery of this beautiful watch on Monday. Please pardon my ignorance as I am complete newbie to all this, but I am looking to some recommendations on ordering a alligator strap and a more modern leather strap to go with this beauty. I am reading the reference thread, but what are the measurements and other details I need to provide a strap-maker to get two straps that will be compatible with this beauty. For instance what is the correct size to order or measurement to give like 24mm 75/120…….I am not clear on what size aligns with the 187G.

Please also share any recommendations on the straps as there is a lot of knowledge on these forums. Below are the links to a few straps I am considering:

Canada, but in Hungary... for now
First off, the 187 accepts a 26mm strap. In regard to length, it depends on your wrist size, thickness of strap (a thick strap needs to be longer) and if you like a long or short tail (length of strap left after buckle).
I have a 7 3/4" wrist and I like tail, so my ideal strap is 90/140
At the moment I have a 80/145 Di Stefano Bruno Allegrini gamma divers strap on my 187 and love it. Google it and fall in love.

DiStefano is probably the best out there but very expensive. Take a look at some of the guys we have here, bradj, Dan migliore, orloff, donerix are all awesome. In case your wondering what it would look like on horn back, here is one. Made it myself but any strap maker here can make something similar.

I am looking at the kainheritage site now. From what I have read thus far I am looking for a 26/26 strap.

Is this the correct screwdriver to oder? http://kainheritage.com/html/screwdriver.html?

I plan on ordering one strap from Kainheritage and one from combat. Please also let me know if the PAM 299 also accepts 26/26 straps. Many thanks for all your help and wtachpt is a true gentleman to deal with.
