Strap and buckle incompatibility

Hello all,

just received a 24/24 strap from bob and while trying to use a buckle from a previous 24/24 strap, i realize that there is plenty of tension when sliding the strap through the buckle.

Anyone has this issue with their buckle and strap?

The strap from BOB might be just a tad wider than 24mm, hence the difficulty in sliding the strap through. Or you have a deployant buckle and the one from BOB is not designed for a deployant but a tang buckle.

ah that explains it,
using a normal tang buckle. im afraid that after a couple of sliding, the leather on the strap might get worn out faster than it should.

using a pre-v buckle. is there the difference?
