Strange rainbow reflection in PAM390N chrystal.

Just wondering if gen. chrystal reflects like this in a direct sun light. It's very visible to naked eye and looks in real life just like in pics. I could not get this kind of effect any of my gens (no pams) domed chrystals. I guess it's "not so good AR" that causes it.

In my opinion that effect is not at all produced by the AR
This refraction is produced because the bevelled of the crystal works like a prism and split the sun light in its colours
In doem crystal is not possible you would need a bevelled crystal to get the prism effect
Maybe the gen in the same position and conditions makes the same.

Yuo might have a point here. Mayby it is a bevelled chrystal workina as a prism.

Now when I know it I see it happening all the time. A found few more pics where same prism effect is cought to "film" by accident.
