My almost 2 yr old 21j V 1.5 Plopper has been acting strange lately...Twice in the past week, it totally unwound itself, spinning the rotor for a minute or two until it was completely unwound...Once rewound, it held the wind without further incidence...
I opened the case and everything seemed to be OK, except the rotor center screw was @ 1/2 turn loose... I'm wearing it now, and it seems to be OK...Only Time will tell.....But one of the advantages of having a $15.00 movement is how cheaply it can be replaced !!!:snort:

the click spring which keeps the main spring barrel from unwinding is probably loose. it'll slip off if the main spring winds tight i suspect. common for asian 21j movements.

Either that about the click spring or the actuall main spring is oiled to much and can't hold the wind .
