Many people talks that PAM 127 is accurate. Its also in bullz eye section at puretime.co

When I look at the lume, especially at number 9, its different from the gen.

GEN:

Comparison between GEN and REP (this is old rep). But you can see the lume number 9 at gen as well.

Now, take a look at the reps. The number 9 is different from gen.

I don't think anything except a gen is going to be acceptable to you.

Aiya, 127 is a great rep... you're getting a LOT of watch for couple 100s compared to 20k+ that they're selling for now.

Anyway Panatime pic is not a real pic is digitalized one. No gen has no distortion, nice distortion and smooth but it has.
At this moment PAM 127 is Sold out, So no problems about decisions, and I hope next batches will have better glass (this is the matter). You have too the possibility of a crystal Mod.

127 is particularly hard to photograph due to crystal distortion, both gen and rep.
Now are you really sure that the "9" is different just by looking at pics?

You should get the marlin modded 127 which eliminates most tell tale sign already. Should be a perfect 127 for you.
Its personally one of my grail watches after the rachet gears polished, y incabloc, golden fonts and polished CP. Strapped up with a Gen Strap.

But perfect out of the box hublot v6 ceramic is also my love... no blue tint on glass. Very beautiful watch.

AP Diver with thicker relume bezel will also be my fave.

Sorry, but I do not understand why you have to keep asking.

If you can see it...then, it IS different.

If you cannot live with it, don'y buy it.

What you are looking at is the distortion made to the by the crystal, the noob 127 is one of the best reps out on the market. Even the crystal distortion is excellent on some of the watches, there are some that are terrible, but in some gen 127s the distortion was just as bad. You need to do more research on the 127 and in time you will see what I am talking about. In the mean time you must remember there is no such thing as the perfect rep, the only perfect rep is a GEN.

'...the only perfect rep is a GEN' and yet..., in the real Panerai world we know variance occurs in production, even within the same model/series, just check the 111N in both worlds. BTW, I have a Marlin 127 'Asian' and it just rocks! even when it has been in a couple of different friend's hands whom happen to be GEN owners! Remember that 99% of GEN owners are not PAM freaks like we are!!!

Where the bluegrass sways!
Marlin2284 is "Gen-atiz-ing" 3 Units for me right now 127, 111n, 113!!

WOW am I excited!! .. YES ...:cheese:

To answer OP question as best I can.... they will look different :pam: on different watches at different angles ... but dial for dial from what research I have done they are so close they are exquisite!!
