I am writing this post to report my misadventure with the post and at the same time to report to everyone the honesty and extreme correctness and professionalism of Steve (Theonewatches) in this my first experience in purchasing a Rolex Daytona.
In short, after reading a lot on this excellent forum, I decided to order from Steve (also thanks to the various positive reviews) a white Daytona VSF 116500, payment made, QC received and finally tracking with triangular shipping.
The problem arises in the Italian post office, where several packages, including mine, are tampered with with the removal (apparently considering that I have NEVER been able to see this package) of the various contents ....
Even today I went to speak with some managers of the SDA (PP.TT.) of Villabate, where the tampered package is currently still located, who told me that at the end of December some tampering had occurred and that they had already filed a formal complaint, blocking the related packages because they were without content.
If you still see the tracking, the package would appear to be being delivered for repackaging, but this wording, as far as I was told, is automatic from the computer and does not actually take into account the real situation.
So with a package virtually being delivered (from 12/27/2024), this seller, surely having identified with the situation, asked me if I wanted a refund or a new shipment, and has already proceeded to make the refund, since in this holiday period we agreed that it would be better not to make a new shipment.
Steve has certainly proven to be a serious and correct seller and this must be underlined to demonstrate that he can be trusted, both as advice and as a seller.
