Spot the gen

Hi folks,

after a fantastic French GTG in Lyon this week-end, it seems these pictures are ideal for a little game : spot the gen !

We tried to do the same with Rolex, but only found out 3 pieces.
The Panerai theme is much more interesting, especially thanks to Boudart

Second hint : look at the "Swiss" position and crowns...

Most reps out of the box (for the Luminor series) have a huge tell which is visible at a first glance from someone who knows : the L Swiss Made L is stuck at the 6, which is wrong. And indeed the size is wrong too. I can't understand why they never fixed that, which make many people buy slightly better ones a fortune (DSN or LH) !

You're absolutely right, the gen is the one on the right with the black strap (which isn't gen BTW)
Kudos to the proud owner of this PAM : Boudart !

I was thinking the 12 had the proper tail on the 2 cause that was visible in the pictures. Looks like my guess was right!

Well the pis aren't of the best quality, but indeed those usual details show us that the rep PAMs, as simple as they are, can't mimic the gen correctly without severe mods.

My guess is that 177(M?) with black strap in white stitching is a gen

The interesting thing is going on in Paneristi world. I was offered twice to buy a BNIB 177 with a huge discount from AD price list and my question was, what is going on? Looks that gen lovers are admiring the latest 351 and saving some cash for it instead of 177 model.
