"Spiral" 40 yrs of Bond rep question

Has anyone compared the new 40 yrs of James Bond rep with the spiral (rifling) on the face to the gen? I have seen the gen in person and the sprial printing on the rep seems more pronounced, but I can't tell if it's just in the photos or not.

I used to have a rep of this one and decided to pass it on to my collegue. Not the most perfect rep but OK. Too many flaws on the rep (mainly it has to do with general fit and finish). Dial is not spot on and you can tell that it's certainly a rep.

the pics of the rep definitely show a different "rifling" color.

The spiral on the dial on the gen is much more understated...I would think the rep mfg's are working on a much more accurate version as they did on the previous 007's and PO's. I think it's just a matter of time :wink:
