Speedmaster with 7751??

I am helping a friend choose a first rep, and they really like this watch:

Is the 7751 movement any different / better than the 7750?
Where do the seconds run on this watch?
Any thoughts on the quality of the watch? Accuracy as a rep?

7751?? Maybe the people knowing the movements can chime in... this is pretty interesting... I'll never heard of 7751 before..

Maybe it is a new movement??

Hey it's been around for a while and it's a copy of the ETA7751. I guess the main difference from the 7750 is the date arrangement (on top) and it's also often seen with a moon phase.

It has several additional complications from the 7750. My question is whether or not this is just a 7750 with more modifications (which means it would be even less reliable than the 7750) or is it really a completely different movement with a better track record.

At 9, there are running seconds and 24 hours.

The base is the A7750. All the chrono fucntions are equal. The new complications are the difference. A ton of pieces are exactly the same. Just check the pdf of ETA for the family 7750...

At the moment..the main problems of the A7750 are related to: reversing wheel, hour counter, bad regulation, dirty movement.... However, it depends on the factory....

That's a very good rep, by the way. I have one with blue dial and it's very accurate. It's a bit on the small side, especially if you're used to PAMs etc, but it's beautiful. I have noticed that this movement is prone to alignment issues in the date wheels, so if you order it from Ruby you may want to ask her to check for that and sensd some pics. Make sure you get a perfectly aligned one.
