I thought I would share this comparison photo I made trying to assess the Speedmaster Triple Date offered by King. As you can see, there are a lot of problems in comparison to the gen: white year/month rather than black day/month dials, straight hour markers with lume dots rather than wedge shaped hour markers, filled traingular chronograph hand rather than an open triangle. Oh, and the chronograph and year functions are dummy. Still, the "airplane" day of the month hand is one of the more beautiful modern hands on a watch. l am continuuing to contemplate this watch.
