Recently purchased from the gate for $75
Ticking quartz does t bother me. I’m more worried about the tachometer hand holding at 12. Either way... I’ve had this watch for a couple days and it just seemed off, Couldn’t figure why. Then I realized the lume and dial were just too white and off putting. So I too the movement out and literally dabbed it with a grizzly wintergreen pouch. (How I patina all my watches) more control and faster than coffee. I know it’s not a vintage watch but it just looks better to me. Not so in your face white and polished looking.
I’m going to try to upload some pics..... but I’ve yet to succeed.
