Lemania movement better than 7750, far more reliable and cheap to replace, you can confidently run the chrono

But please note the hour subdial is faux - it's a 12hr equalizer (linked to the hour hand) or its frozen - doesnt do anything

Is there any other Omega Speedmasters replicas that you recommend that are still in sub 300 price range?

If you always refer here for their domain you will not have an issue

A7750 is an automatic movement, the lemania is a handwound movement.

The watch you have linked is the FOIS version, as far as I know it is no longer produced. (I actually have one in my collection from years ago).

That being said, the OMF regular speedy moonwatch, is a solid, well built watch and the lemania/st19 is a workhorse and bullet proof chrono. It has inaccuracies with the sub dial spacing, but if you can live with it, it's a great watch. I'd recommend getting a bracelet model because you will likely wish you had a bracelet and they can be hard to come by, easier to get it on the bracelet and buy a leather strap separately.

No. Most newbies who are interested in the speedmaster will learn very quickly. There are no "accurate" Speedmaster replicas.

That being said they're not bad watches and are fun and cheap if you can overlook their flaws.

Do some research.

Thank you so much for the advice. I greatly appreciate it! With that being said, I would appreciate you thoughts on these as better options. https://chazingtime.io/product/spee...-dial-on-ss-bracelet-a7750-free-rubber-strap/
Btw those are also lemania movement not 7750. Dont trust the dealer desxriptions jusy look at the movement and educate yourself. 10 minutes of education can save you asking us the same question 10000 times

Idk what gen is but consider the thickness due to the auto movement, 16mm, eek. - for the speedmaster racing you linked.

Also, my personal opinion of course, but I think that model is ugly as sin.

The other one is exactly the model I was referring to initially. The OMF.

I would like to ask your personal opinion on best beginner watches that are good replicas. I ask this after having scrolled through hundreds of conflicting posts on reddit. I personally seemed to have an eye for the Omega Speedmaster style.

The only thing I will add to this is the sub-dial spacing is wrong on all of the replica speedmasters utilizing the lemania.

Compare mine to the replica. Notice how much closer to the center pinion the subdials are in the genuine. This is an instant tell that is visible from arm's length for someone who knows what to look for

Now compare that to one of the hand wind ones you linked above

You have two significant tells that I could identify standing nearby you. One is of course the sub-dial placement. The other is the subdial at 6:00 not being zeroed out. This part of the flaws can be rectified by having the hand Frozen in place

The link refers to Speedmaster Racing 40mm. Many said that's the closest to a gen. But if you browse again thru their web, there is actually a same model but made by different factory (HKF/HRF) which I believe to be a better one in terms of accuracy to the gen.

1. If you look at the date window, the HKF's bottom border of the date window is cut/colored black thus interrupting the circular white border of the subdial. The cheaper model has a date window inside the subdial.
2. HKF's bracelet is truer to gen with a flat inner side.
3. The white lettering print on the dial of HKF is a deeper white and brighter.
4. The lume on the hands of HKF is blue vs green on the cheaper model.
5. The Swiss Made print at the bottom is sharper on HKF. On the cheaper model, the height of minute marker between the words Swiss and Made is the same as the words Swiss Made (should be lower as in Gen.
6. The incription inside the HKF's case back is also more accurate.

If those things are important to you, I suggest getting the HKF one. But both work well, HKF is a few grams lighter and both movements are accurate to +/- 2ish SPD on mine. I have both models. To me, both their metal bracelets have sharp edges (I sprayed with silicone and let them sit a few hours, and the result is well worth it. The bracelets feel silkier, "softer" and sound more substantial).
