Good day fellows, yesterday I got a uber rare pam089 through a local deal, after I unwrapped the bubble I have found a tiny speck of dust inside the xtal [bottom of the date cyclops]

Initially I thought it’s a scratch but later I’ve found out should be a tiny speck of dust inside.

My question would be is that possible to remove/relocate the tiny speck without bringing it to a watchsmith? [I have sloppy hands]

Also I would like some strap recommendation! It only came with oem rubber strap.

Are you sure that is only dust?

I have that on a couple of my 243s. I think it’s just a reflection because it’s not always visible.

I will break pretty much everything i touch so I avoid doing any delicate projects

well then its probably best going to a watchsmith , as you will need to remove the crown guard, the stem , the movement , then put it all back together ...

It's my day 2 of owning the watch, will see how it goes!

Did a bit of googling, someone said using a wool to lightly scrub the xtal will help[something related to static, anyone tried this method before?]

A hammer should break the crystal so you can access the dial. And the dust. Just be careful. You don’t want to damage the dial.
