So i came across 2 MB's that caught my eye. I particularly like the way the pattern on the dials. Anyone know if there are available anywhere? I contacted Angus but he cant find one.

Watcheden has some in quartz, automatic or faux-chrono auto.
I wouldn't advise faux-chronos, they're a tell in themselves.

Dont confuse chronometer with chronograph- the latter is what you are thinking about, which refers to the stopwatch function. The former.... well, look it up

Looks nice, but the back says "sample", which is really odd : I want a Montblanc sample too

I emailed them and asked about the "sample" on the back. still havent heard back in 2 days. I know its their new year so ill just sit tight. but for $100 looks like a good pickup.

Yeah the dial is amazing! Its worth $100 just to look at the dial.

I just ordered the watch today. I was informed that they are on holiday for next day or so. I should have it within 2 weeks. stay tuned...

So I made sure it was available before I ordered. Sent payment, got delayed a week, turns out not available. So I ordered an ap diver 3.5 in interim. I'll keep searching though

that doesn't look too bad. the dial is a bit of a cream color. I just might grab that one. anyone have one?
