Sourcing a 217 dial?

Anyone know where I can source a 217 dial??

Sent my Noob 217 off to Alex to service and in its way via good old Royal Mail, the minute hand fell off.

It must have the caught under the hour hand as the face has small nicks in the surface between 7 and 8.

Alex has fixed it and given it a thorough clean and service. But I can't look past these marks.

Are 217 dials as hard to come by as the whole watches right now??

Would a 217 from another maker (DSN??) be as good??

Cheers

You can buy a custom cut/engraved dial. Then paint, fill and lume yourself. Here is one I had...

Not sure I have the skills to do that! :)

Are DSN 217 dials rated as accurate over the noob dial in there?? And his 1950 hands too??

$30 for the whole dial unlumed. But only need the top surface plate anyway.

Another 30 for the hands - May do too as the minute hand is a little marked.

Cheers

I was under the impression that Hmaker had the best/brightest (accurate) luminesence??

Either way I'd like an official answer for that question.
