It has been two weeks since I have bought the watch from Rastapopoulos, the transaction was smooth, everything worked well.
The watch looks and feels okay, but it has a faulty wind mechanism, my watchsmith told me something is wrong with the movement. The watch winds extremely hard, and it is almost impossible to screw the cronw back in after time/date setting. Extremely hard! At first I was 100% I was going to strip the treads on the tube!
As I contacted the seller "Rastapopoulos" he told me that this is normal and that the crown has some sort of play. What!!?? This is not normal at all, the crown has absolutely no play, it is as it should be, but something else is wrong, I will see what exactly when the watch comes back from service. It think that those problems should be mentioned in the sales tread, as I clearly would not buy a watch with those problems!
I also have to mention that the both rubber straps are sized extremely short, only a child an wear this, but let´s get to the bigger problem, there are also no extra links with the SS Bracelet as well, so it makes it completely unusable for any other owner other than a child. Yes, I didn´t ask explicitly for extra links and band lenght, but those things should be mentioned in the sales tread!!!
Now I have a watch that I brought to service, a big question is if it is possible even to resolve the issue, I have a bracelet that I cannot wear, as well as both rubber straps. Great!
