Hi all, English is not my mother tongue so i will try my best to explain what my concern is

Recently i got a bb blue made by ZF from m2m, the watch looks great and keeps time, but when i compare mine with gen,the four corners looks a bit off [between the polished area and the shiny area]

Blues are hard to get right between replica and gen...not sure what you expected?

hi, the blue looks fine to me, allow me to further explain by using a gen pic [ i know reps are not always 1:1 to gen]

I see what you are referring to. It looks similar on the rep, and I can't really tell much of a difference. It could be that the polished cut is at a different angle

@pf78 Reps are NEVER 1:1...that's the marketing spiel. It's just not true. You simply cannot get $10,000 out of something that costs $400 ...

All reps have certain flaws - as already stated, Many watches with the dial being the colour Blue is hard to replicate.

That might be true, but the Tudor reps habe superrep status to me. I mean it is basically impossible to spot a fake BB on someones wrist if it is made by Zf or V6f. They are just so well done. I couldn't rectify spending 10x more for maybe 5% improvement on the gen. And my gut tells me they will rep the MT5601 soon aswell. Like with the Sa 3135

I have read the whole thing already. I know the differences between the gen and rep. For example i can definately tell the ZF from the V6 as V6 has better bezel (numbers are written closer together than ZF and also markers on bezel have a little different shape and such. Writing, alignment of the Markers and all that. Also know of the flaws on the BB but they are such minor flaws. Thats why im saying if someone is wearing one on their wrist, how would you possibly tell these flaws that you can almost only see on TD´s Macro shots.

Absolutely true, you are correct.

And, this makes all the consternation with micro issues in QC mute... because the reality is no-one will notice it unless using some form of serious magnification.

The biggest thing that stands out is the matte blue bezel insert since
it should be almost shiny. The polished bevel while not 100% like gen is closer than the bezel insert or incomplete rose on the dial. If you can overlook those flaws then then what's the issue?

You can always order a shiny blue bezel insert from Helenarou. Same for the dial without incomplete rose.

Here is a gen with the lug chamfer looking closer to your rep....yes your rep's bevel looks wider, but picture angles play a part. As others point out no rep is going to get all the details right.

It is not something that can be worked out without changing the lug shape too much, overall you have a nice rep so I'd live with it....
