Something different, something new to add to the PAM collection

The vintage style lume markers has caught my attention from seeing some Victorinox watches that had them. I have a PAM 243 which was relumed to have the tritium look, something about the lume color is making it very attractive.

2010 saw the re-introduction of new PAMs that has the vintage style lume colors, the PAM359 immediately comes to mind. The 44mm size fiddy style case, striking arabic numbered sandwich dial, the lume, and the cyclops-less datewindow makes this watch slightly different from the more popular PAM Luminor Marina models.

And with the short intro, I'm pleased to introduce to you the PAM 359, the latest addition to my small PAM collection. :)

And this mini shoot will not be complete without a wristshot, thanks for reading.

Thanks frig, it has stock lume, doesn't glow as much as the recent PAMs from the H-factory, just ok.

It's a beautiful watch out of the box, I've no plans of sending this for modifications at this time. I've seen babola's detailed strip down review of this watch and I'm very impressed. :)

I love wrist shots!!

Nice watch.

Strap looks very nice aswell!! 026K and 359M straps just look awesome.

What is your impression about the strap? Is as good as it looks or it's not that good?

I wish the new 177M had a nice strap too , and not the ugly leather vintage strap with no stitching. But I think it's gonna be the same ugly strap...

The rep strap that came with the PAM359 is good enough to be worn. The light orange thread is a nice touch, the 22mm brushed buckle is great, but the strap *might* peel off after wearing it a few times.

As pointed out by JacktheBear in another thread, this strap is short (115/75mm) for guys who have big wrists. I have a small 6.5in wrist and this is almost borderline short for me.

I have a Kain Heritage strap that matches the color of the lume, I had a quick pict earlier with the KH strap and will try to take more.

This one is certainly growing on me... Initial thoughts were "dial is too busy for a non-Chrono"... Now it keeps popping up in my browser window when I'm pondering expanding the collection... It certainly has grown on me quickly... That Kain strap certainly looks good on it.

Shame the factory strap is so short... I wouldn't even get it on my wrist without a swap to something longer and my wrist is only 7.5"+/-

Strap change is a must, great choices. I'd also lume the dial for sure. With all that real estate on your wrist, seems like a shame not to have it help you navigate through the house in the middele of the night. :)

Damn! You guys take better photos than the dealers do!

I've seen this watch on some dealers webs and I didn't like it very much.. But now after seeing these pics with the KH strap I deffinitely want one !!

Anyway it has to wait as I just got the 318L and 288K last week and 177M and 212I are on the way now...

I hope they have enough stock for my next order....

PD: I'm sure that if all of us save the money we spend on our reps we could have at least one gen...
10 reps = 1 gen

I guess I preffer to have 10 different watches and also don't care about scratching a 4k $ watch. :lolcina:

Wow, that is one sweet looking strap you've got there! Great combo...Kain Heritage just might be the best bang for your buck strap maker....I keep seeing them pop up in photos but haven't tried one out yet.

Now I think I will order one for my incoming 005K...Thanks for the pics.

Your 359 looks amazing! Another vote for the Kain. Definitely one of my favorite strap makers.

@Relaxman: That's a sweet looking PAM005k + Kain Heritage strap, thanks for sharing.

This is my 3rd strap from Kain Heritage and I like them all, great value for money. I ordered the vintage strap together with a Pre-V titanium buckle that I'm now using for the 177L.
