Hello, hope everyone's allright
I'm starting the modding journey, and as my first projects i'm doing 3 metal moonswatch 2 of them (the first ones) will be just simple swaps to see how it's working, but i have some special plans for the third one, but cannot find all the desired informations to order parts/finish my plans 😅
So I have a few questions...

What are the hands size that fits the ETA G10.962 EO?
I already found this : hour 1.50, minute .90 and sweep second .25mm
But what about the subdials? (and how the moonphase is attached? Is that an axle like hands or something else?)

What is the name of the tool used to enlarge hands hole? (if you have the name in french that would be perfect, i can't find it on amzn as i certainly don't have the right words)
Can that hole be reduced? I was thinking i could fill the hole with some tin and make a new one (title), but maybe there's a better way? Maybe some paper solidified with glue?
I don't know how sturdy it needs to be...

What glue can I use on the dial (like to take inlays from a donnor and glue them on another dial) ?
I found the "GS Hypo Cement", is it good?
If you have a better glue in mind, that leaves no residue once dry, i'll take it! hehe

Is there a way to make a good print on a dial? (i mean... at home^^)
I already have 2 moonswatch on the way, with 2 cases, and some PE50 stems, but waiting to order for the 3rd one as it will be a little more work and i have so many things to plan first🤣 But I think (and kinda hope) that it will be a unique piece 😎

Thank you all in advance for your answers, and sorry for the loooooong message :)

Sub dial hands are .20mm
You can find them on CousinsUK

Broaches. But you can use fine tweezers with care

You can crimp them with a pin vice or a hand vice. Use a fine metal wire to prevent the seonds hand hole from collapsing

Maybe some paper solidified with glue?

Absolutely never
It has to hold by friction. You have to be delicate and precise. The hands must move with the pinions

Hypocement is ok
Or fine double tape

Waterslide decal…but that’s an art in itself.
Just don’t 😅

Hello, here are my two first watches :p
I had to modify the mouvement holder so now i'm printing a bunch of them "just in case"
The stem wasn't too hard to cut to the right lengh, i made a pattern to help me and it went great
For future builds : is it better to paint hands, or to buy colored ones and adapt them to the mouvement?

Can I put a dial in the oven?

I'm reading a lot about waterslide decals for future projects;)
