I've seen an ad on the Craiglist months ago and decided to take a peek in here just now.
I was fascinated by high end watches since I can remember. I bought a two tone Datejust five years ago, but never could justify the high service costs so I gave it up for some (not so fine at that time) reps. Now I got the bug. Just what I needed!
I am limited to no more than five reps at the time on hand by my lovely wife who thinks it would cost us less if I would just gamble or drink like other normal people :D
Well, it's good to be here.
BTW I already found a lot of useful info on the board and just hope that Davidsen fixes the font thickness on the 111H he offerers for sale so I can purchase it before Christmas.

Hello Mr Bond and Welcome to the Dark Side!

Yep, my wife tried the 5 watch limit when I first started, but she changed her mind when I gave her her first rep. Now my limit has gone out the window.....as long as she gets some too.

Yes I do. I have got a nicely moded Omega 007 with a serviced nickel plated ETA 2824-2, gen dial and clasp... I just love it, hence the name.

Hi 007. I also owned an ORG datejust, two tone. It was an older 14K one. It was a decent watch, but when it needed service, I was shocked at the cost of the service, so I traded it (even trade) for a Breitling Aerospace. Just FYI, the Rolex needed a full service, as the crown did not screw down, the crystal was shot, and the band had a ton of stretch. The service would have cost me over $800.00 from the factory.

Yes, reps are addictive. As my fiance. she thinks I'm nuts to own all the watches I own.

BTW: Welcome aboard!!!

$550 was my cost I paid an AD for a full service of my '92 Datejust I owned. Never again...
