Some last questions before I pull the trigger on a Pam after reading the guide

Hi folks,

long time reader, first time poster and on the verge of buying my first rep.
Before reading the guide I thought I had my mind set on a noob 111 v3 from TB.
Now I just to have some thing cleared out as possible. Am i correct to think that since the v3 came out the latest improvements on the 088, 104 and even 390 have surpassed the v3? Or does the v3 nowadays also come with the slim crown and improved bezel.
i don't really mind the flaws on the back because I buy it for me and I like the mechanics
Some more questions... Am I also correct the latest 127 by noob is nowhere to find anymore? How does the color of the dial compare from 111 with 390? I love the gold arms on the 390 but for 1st purchase I want to have e second dial. At the moment I can't decide between 104o noob and 111v3 noob.....

390 is a tobacco dial so brownish hues where the 111 is black. I love the 111 as a more casual everyday watch and agreed for your first get one with second hands. ... the noob is a fantastic rep buy it and enjoy it. Don't get bogged down w all the tiny details , if your struggling to understand from the threads I promise you won't be able to tell in person. .. there are several pam experts on here that can identify the smallest flaw (which is why we have so many neer perdect pam reps) but for the normal person trust me you won't be able to see these flaws. Just my 2 cents

Tiny flaws are totally unimportant in real life. All the models you mention are so close to gen that you will need a loupe and the gen side by side to tell the difference.

Btw, my first was the 390 and it definitely has not been the last

The 111 v3 is a great way to start your Panerai journey. As a matter of fact it was my first PAM. You will not regret you choice I can assure you this.

I bought pam111 h-asian for 128$ from aliexpress. ?t was really good rep, minor diffences from noob version. I sold it and I am waiting for v4

Is there any word out on the street the 111 will ever come out as a v4? I also heard from one of the TD's the 088 and 104 are discontinued by noob

Pam 005 v4 realesed couple of months ago, so i am waiting pam111 also, but I havent heard anything about this.
