Some help please - an idiot has arrived!

Please can somebody help!. I received a Breightling SuperOcean from a reputable dealer recommended by the board today. its a fantastic looking watch but this idiot is struggling to set time and date. This is my first purchase as well hence why im convinced it is me, not the watch!

Has anybody experienced similar problems or is it a straightforward issue i'm simply not addressing.

Unscrew the crown, pull the crown out, all the way, set the time. Push it in half way, set the date. Push it in all the way anbd screw it down, your done.
